THE GUESTS:
Thibaud Elzière is an entrepreneur renowned for co-founding Fotolia, a digital photography platform sold to Adobe for several hundred million euros. He then launched the eFounders studio, renamed Hexawhich has generated more than 40 high-potential start-ups, including Aircall, Front and Spendesk. Recently, he founded WATa 10,000 m² incubator in Brussels designed to bring together start-ups, creators and innovations in the fields of AI, health, mobility and climate. Dimitri Oosterlynck is the founder of Gimber, a Belgian non-alcoholic ginger-based drink that he launched in 2017 after investing his last savings (25 bottles) in his kitchen to test a first batch.
His idea was to offer an elegant, natural and bold alternative to alcohol, and this positioning has enabled Gimber to achieve €20 million in turnover in just a few years.
A powerful experience: raising £10 million in Series B funding to accelerate international expansion (Benelux, France, Asia) while retaining a majority stake in his family business.
Dimitri also emphasises leadership based on resilience: he went from being an entrepreneur in difficulty to a ‘brand builder’ by recognising the importance of mental and physical health in business management.
Thanks to his career path, he has become a figurehead for the alternative to the world of alcoholic beverages and embodies the rise of ‘functional drinks’ that combine taste, well-being and awareness.
Carine Coulm is a bioengineer by training, born in Theux, Belgium, and now a specialist in nutrition, micronutrition and behaviour design.
After starting her career at L'Oréal and then retraining in IT in Paris, where she became a partner and sales director at Aerow, she embarked on a career in tech entrepreneurship and presented the first Belty smart belt at CES 2015 in Las Vegas, which has won numerous awards, including the « Best of CES ».
This formative experience shaped his expertise in innovation and behavioural change science, while teaching him resilience.
After several years at Oracle Health, she returned to university (Faculty of Medicine of Paris, Faculty of Science and Biomedical Sciences, Harvard Medical School, Real Madrid Graduate School) to further her studies in nutrition and micronutrition.
Building on this technological, scientific and human experience, Carine created LivRfit, a unique method that combines nutrition, micronutrition and behavioural science to bring about lasting change in health and lifestyle habits.
